War disgusts all humans of integrity…
it disgusts me…
it disgusted my Father…yet…
that was his job as a Warrior of the flesh and he did it well…
Ψ
He paid the price of Mind in the years following…
he grew in Peace through a struggle of many walls of the Mind over years of pain…
he remembered the faces of friend and foe alike…for…
i listened to his horror as we enjoyed what the Sea gave us on beautiful days fishing…
Ψ
My Father was without Fear which could defeat him…
like others of his greatness…
He was called upon by the Fearful to do a job that others do not want to do…this…
was at the Core of his greatness…
Ψ
Judgement of others can come easily to humans who see themselves as better…
I witnessed my Father experience Judgement as we all have, therefore I try not to Judge…
today I remember a Positive Man of Honor and Commitment to not his Religion, Politics or Country…but…
to his Way…
Ψ
I watched this Man of War years later in his old age commit to a Peaceful gesture…
he crossed a crowded San Francisco street to One of Suffering…
a homeless human who some would turn away from…smiling…
he put his hand on the shoulder of the Suffering One and gave what was in his pocket…
Ψ
Selfless…
Fearless…
Kind…a…
Protector of the most important goal…Peace…
Ψ
“Improvise, Adapt and Overcome“…
In all that I do…
these are the words I remember and live by…He…
taught me and in honor of Him…I will.
